Getting started Sign in with an email code Use your email address and a six-digit sign-in code. You do not need a ChatGPT login or a BidPorch password.
Open Sign in and enter your email address. Complete the security check if one appears, then choose Email me a sign-in code. Open the newest sign-in email for that address and enter its six-digit code on the sign-in page. Continue to BidPorch. If you reach an invitation page, follow the pilot-access instructions below. Important to know Enter codes only on the sign-in page. Support will never need your code.
Verifying an email address and receiving access to an invitation-only pilot are separate steps.
Back to topics ↑ Getting started My sign-in email has not arrived Start with the address and inbox checks before requesting another code.
Check the address shown on the sign-in screen. Use Change email if it is wrong. Check spam, junk and any workplace email quarantine. Allow a little time for delivery. Use Send a new code to return to the email step and request a fresh code. Avoid repeatedly requesting codes in quick succession. If it still does not arrive, contact support with the approximate request time and any visible error. Do not include a sign-in code. Important to know The confirmation message is intentionally generic. It does not prove that an account exists or that an email reached an inbox.
These instructions cannot inspect your inbox or verify delivery for your account.
Back to topics ↑ Getting started My code or security check is not working Use the newest six-digit code for the address on the screen.
Check that you are using the newest email and the same email address as the sign-in screen. If the code is expired or rejected, request a fresh code and use that one. If the security check fails, refresh the sign-in page and complete the check again before submitting. If an email contains eight digits but the page asks for six, report the mismatch to support. Do not shorten or alter the code. Important to know Never share codes, screenshots containing codes or recovery credentials with support.
Do not disable browser security to make a sign-in attempt work.
Back to topics ↑ Getting started Join and complete the founding-evaluator pilot The founding-evaluator pilot is a two-week opportunity to test the product and give candid feedback.
If access is invitation-only, use the pilot request form to describe your work. If already invited, sign in with the invited address. During the evaluation, create at least one radar for your services and review at least four suggested opportunities. Mark each reviewed opportunity Relevant or Not for me. Save at least one to My briefcase if you find one worth investigating, and verify its official source. Keep notes about confusing, missing or time-consuming steps and share them in the end-of-pilot feedback conversation. Important to know An access request is not automatic admission. Follow the access instructions shown on the site.
There is no purchase requirement and no expectation of a testimonial. Honest criticism is useful.
Back to topics ↑ Radars and matches Create your first radar A radar is a saved set of criteria used to prioritize opportunities for your work.
Open the dashboard's Radars area and choose a starter profile or Custom. Give the radar a recognizable name. Set service keywords, exclusions, eligibility keywords, category, region, value range and minimum lead time as appropriate. Choose a delivery schedule and decide whether to select Email this radar to me. Choose Save this radar, then review the suggested opportunities and their match reasons. Important to know Starter profiles are starting points, not a certification that your business qualifies for a notice.
Saving a radar does not submit a bid or prove automatic email delivery is active.
Back to topics ↑ Radars and matches Choose criteria or replace a radar Use specific service terms and realistic limits. Delivery settings can be changed separately from business criteria.
Include terms that describe work you actually provide, and use exclusions for work you do not want. Check whether region, value limits and minimum lead time are narrowing the results too much. To replace business criteria, first note the existing settings. The current saved-radar controls do not include a business-criteria editor. Create a replacement if your plan has a free slot. Otherwise, Remove the old radar to free a slot and create the replacement. Removing a radar deletes that saved radar's settings. Important to know Do not remove a radar just to change its delivery time; use Delivery settings instead.
Eligibility keywords help matching but do not verify legal or program eligibility.
Back to topics ↑ Radars and matches Understand match percentages A match percentage helps prioritize review. It is not a probability of winning or a guarantee of eligibility.
Save a radar before expecting a personalized match percentage. Read the match reasons alongside the score and notice details. Check the official source before deciding whether to pursue the opportunity. Important to know Matching considers services and keywords, exclusions, geography, value, response time, source evidence and administrator quality review.
A high score does not mean a bid has been submitted, an award is likely or every requirement is satisfied.
Back to topics ↑ Radars and matches Improve irrelevant matches Use feedback and review your saved criteria when suggestions are off target.
Mark reviewed opportunities Relevant or Not for me. Compare irrelevant results with your radar's keywords, exclusions and region. If the business criteria need changing, follow the replacement-radar instructions. Send support a concrete example with the official source link if a recurring mismatch is hard to explain. Important to know Feedback does not guarantee that every later suggestion will be a perfect match.
Not for me affects your personal feed; it does not remove or amend the official notice.
Back to topics ↑ Radars and matches Find results when a view looks empty An empty view may reflect filters, saved items or limited source coverage rather than a site failure.
If you are in My briefcase, choose Back to feed to see opportunities beyond your saved items. Clear the search query and try All signals and Any timing. Use Clear filters if it is offered. Check whether your radar criteria are too narrow. If a relevant official notice seems missing, send support its official source link. Important to know BidPorch monitors selected sources. An empty feed does not establish that no opportunities exist elsewhere.
These instructions cannot determine your account's current results or source health.
Back to topics ↑ My briefcase Save opportunities to My briefcase My briefcase is your shortlist for opportunities worth another look.
On an opportunity, choose Save to briefcase. The control changes to In briefcase. Open My briefcase to review saved opportunities available in the current feed. Choose In briefcase again if you want to remove that saved mark. Important to know Saving an opportunity does not apply for it or contact the buyer.
The current briefcase view is limited to items available in the loaded feed. Older saved items may not all appear even if the saved count is higher. Contact support rather than assuming they were deleted.
Back to topics ↑ My briefcase Track a pursuit stage and export a view Use stages as your own tracking labels and CSV export for the view you are reviewing.
Save an opportunity to My briefcase. Choose the appropriate stage: Review, Pursue, Submitted, Won or Pass. To export the current results, set the filters you want and use the view's CSV export control. Important to know Submitted and Won are tracking labels you set. They do not submit a bid or independently verify an award.
A view export contains the current filtered view, not a complete account-data export.
Back to topics ↑ Sources and verification Verify deadlines, eligibility and scope The official notice is authoritative. BidPorch helps you discover and prioritize; it does not replace the issuing organization's instructions.
Choose Verify at source on the opportunity. Read the latest notice, amendments and required documents. Confirm the deadline, its time zone, eligibility and scope. Follow the issuing organization's process to ask notice-specific questions or submit a response. Important to know Some signals are early indicators rather than open solicitations. A signal date is not necessarily a response deadline.
BidPorch does not certify eligibility, interpret legal requirements for you or guarantee notice accuracy.
Back to topics ↑ Sources and verification Understand coverage and refresh timing BidPorch uses selected sources and a daily refresh target. It is not a real-time index of every opportunity.
Check the notice date and any freshness information shown with the opportunity. Open the official source for the latest amendments and deadlines. Report a stale or missing notice with its official source link. Important to know A scheduled check runs only sources that are due; it does not necessarily refresh every source on each check.
This guide is not proof that recurring source checks are active or that a particular source is healthy today. Follow any activation notice displayed on the site.
Back to topics ↑ Email briefs Choose when a radar's email brief arrives Save delivery preferences for each radar. Automatic delivery also requires service activation and email permission.
In Saved radars, open Delivery settings for the radar. Choose a frequency available on your plan, a local time and time zone, and a day for weekly delivery. Scout supports weekly; Radar Pro adds daily and weekday schedules. Enable email for the radar and save its delivery settings. Check that account-wide email is enabled and that the site is not showing a delivery-activation notice. Important to know Saving a schedule or previewing a brief does not prove automatic delivery is active.
Once activated, delivery targets a start within 15 minutes of the chosen time; this is not an inbox-arrival guarantee. Daylight saving follows the selected time zone, and a skipped clock time moves to the next valid time.
Briefs more than two hours late after an outage are skipped until the next scheduled delivery. No eligible matches means no email.
Back to topics ↑ Email briefs My scheduled brief did not arrive Check activation, email permissions, timing and matching content before changing your radar.
Look for an activation notice on the dashboard. Automatic delivery may still be awaiting activation. Check both the account-wide Email brief setting and the radar's own Delivery settings. Confirm the selected frequency, day, local time and time zone. Use Preview brief to see whether there is matching content, then check spam or quarantine. If the settings look right, contact support with the radar name and expected delivery time including time zone. Important to know A preview or displayed next-delivery time is not proof that an email was sent or received.
The guide cannot determine the cause for your account. Do not delete and recreate a radar just to try to force delivery.
Back to topics ↑ Email briefs Pause one radar or all email briefs Radar-level and account-wide controls are separate. An account-wide pause or unsubscribe takes priority.
To pause one radar, open its Delivery settings, turn off its email option and save. To pause all briefs, choose Pause in the account's Email brief control or use an email's unsubscribe link. To resume, choose Enable for account-wide email and check that each wanted radar also has email enabled. Important to know Creating another radar does not override an existing account-wide pause.
Pausing briefs does not cancel billing or delete your account. This help guide cannot change settings for you.
Back to topics ↑ Email briefs Preview an email brief without sending it Preview brief shows a radar's brief in your signed-in browser without delivering an email.
Sign in and find the radar under Saved radars. Choose Preview brief to open its preview. Review the matching content and return to Delivery settings if you want to adjust the schedule. Important to know Previewing does not send an email, opt you in or confirm the scheduler is active.
A preview can be empty and future brief contents can change. Do not share private preview links in public chat.
Back to topics ↑ Account and support Understand plans and manage an existing subscription Scout supports one radar and weekly briefs. Radar Pro supports three radars and adds daily and weekday schedules. Check the current site for prices and availability.
Review the current plan options shown on the site rather than relying on an old email or quoted price. If you have a paid subscription, open Manage billing from your dashboard to use the secure Stripe customer portal. Check the portal's subscription status, renewal information and available changes before confirming an action. Important to know Cancellation prevents the next renewal while access generally continues through the current paid period; check the actual terms and portal status.
This guide cannot cancel a subscription, approve a refund or promise a plan is currently available.
Back to topics ↑ Account and support Download your data, delete an account or sign out Downloading data, deleting an account and signing out are different actions.
Use Download my data in the account controls for an account-data export. Before deleting an account, resolve any active subscription through Manage billing. Account deletion is blocked while an active subscription remains. Choose Delete account and read the confirmation carefully. Confirm only if you intend permanent deletion; otherwise choose the option to keep the account. Use Sign out when you only want to end the signed-in session. Important to know A CSV export from the feed is not the same as Download my data.
Signing out does not erase an account. Consult the privacy policy for retention details; do not assume deletion instantly erases every record held by every service.
Back to topics ↑ Account and support Get help from a person Use the support email link displayed on this page for issues the guide cannot resolve.
Describe what you were trying to do and the page or radar involved. Include the visible error and approximate time with time zone. For a notice issue, include its official source link. Remove sensitive information from screenshots. If support needs your account email, share it directly with support rather than in public chat. Send your message using the displayed email link. Reading this guide does not create or submit a support ticket. Important to know Never send passwords, sign-in codes, API keys, recovery credentials or full payment-card details.
The guide is informational: it cannot inspect another user's data, change your account or promise a response time.
